Pizza Quiche (Low Carb)
preconditions: Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a deep pie or quiche dish with cooking spray.
| 3 oz pepperoni (Hormel Sliced Turkey pepperoni is great in this!)|
8oz sausage or hamburger
3oz canadian bacon (Again, I use Hormel sliced canadian bacon)
1/2 bell pepper chopped (optional, I omit this)
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded mozarella
1 cup shredded cheddar (made with whole milk)
1/2 cup shredded parmesean
salt/pepper to taste
- Cook sausage and cut up pepperoni and bacon.
In large bowl, mix eggs, cream, powders, salt and pepper well. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Pour into dish. You may need to spread out the meat.
Bake for approx. 40 minutes or till golden brown and when a knife is inserted in middle, it comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
This is a basic quiche recipe just done up! Add black olives or even spread a little Hunts sugar free pizza sauce on top.

Total carb count : 20 1/2 grams or 5 and change per serving :)
If you add bell pepper, remember to add in those carbs, as well as those for the SF tomato sauce or olives!
